First Card.....In Awhile

Oh my goodness, how time flies!  It's been quite awhile since I have posted on my blog.  And it's been a really long time since I have made a card.  As much as I love making cards for our heros, I got burnt out.  And then my craft desk became the dumping ground for "stuff" that needed to go some place else.  I literally had mounds of crap on my desk.  Yes, crap is a better description than stuff.

Then I started looking at my desk and having a huge urge to make cards.  But there was no space to make cards.  I could have carried the needed supplies to the kitchen.  But I didn't want to hassle with that.  And it's hard to eat a meal when the table is covered.  So I have started the not so fun task of cleaning up my craft room.  I actually found some of my desk!

My son's birthday is just around the corner (yikes!) and I needed invitations for his party.  Since it was going to be a small party, I thought I could make invitations instead of buying them.  My son is a huge fan of the Avengers.  But he truly loves Captain America.  So I am planning his invitation & cake around Cap.

Yes, this is an invitation and not a "card."  But when I was looking at it, I thought "hey some kid would probably love this!"  So after I restock my blue paper, I plan on making some for my OWH box.  Maybe change it a bit.
